Bermuda Triangle: A place shrouded in mystery & mist

There are a few places on our blue planet where phenomenon’s continue to baffle scientists. Perhaps, the most famous of them all is the Bermuda Triangle. For decades, the Bermuda Triangle has remained a mystery to the people and till not only ships but also airplanes have disappeared apart from passing through here. There is speculation behind this that some unknown and mysterious forces are responsible for the disappearance here.

What is the Bermuda Triangle?

The Bermuda Triangle is a part of 5 million square kilometers area in the Atlantic Sea. Its shape is like a triangle. With Bermuda, Miami and Puerto Rico being the focal points. In the last 100 years, several airplanes and ships have been lost in it.

Who founded the Bermuda Triangle?

Christopher Columbus first informed the world about the Bermuda Triangle. He had mentioned the activities taking place in this triangle in his articles. There have been many researches and studies on the cause of the disappearance of ships in this area, but nothing has been clearly known so far.

Referring to the activities in this triangle in his writings, he wrote that as soon as he approached the Bermuda Triangle, his compass stopped working. After this Christopher Columbus saw a mysterious ‘fireball’ in the sky, which went straight and fell into the sea.

Scientific rationale behind the mystery

Many things have come to the fore in various scientific researches, out of which theories seem quite logical, the first one that states that this large part of the oceanic area has reserves of methane gas. Due to which more bubbles of water rise, and the boom caused by them is enough to sink the ship.

Apart from this there is a second assumption that this field is a very strong magnetic field due to which objects made of iron stop working here . The plane loses its way and crashes.

The third theory proposed by scientists blames the weather for the disappearance of ships in the Bermuda Triangle. After studying the weather around the Bermuda Triangle very closely, scientists have claimed that dangerous winds blow over this triangle and their speed is 170 miles per hour. When a ship comes in the grip of this wind, it loses its balance, due to which they get into an accident.
