Corona curfew extended till August 24 in Uttarakhand

Despite the decrease in the cases of corona infection, the period of Covid curfew implemented in Uttarakhand has been extended by one week i.e. till August 24 with the present relaxations. The period of Covid curfew currently implemented in the state is ending on August 17 at 6 am.

In the Covid curfew, the government has given concessions in almost all areas. Markets are regularly open from 8 am to 9 pm. Shopping malls, cinema halls, gyms etc. are open with 50 percent capacity. Sports, social, political activities have also been allowed. Government-non-government offices are opening with full capacity. There is no restriction on movement within the state.

Those people coming from other states are exempted from the requirement of negative report of corona test, if they have got both doses of corona vaccine 15 days before arrival. For those who do not have a certificate of covid vaccination, negative report of corona test is mandatory.

Presently classes from 9th to 12th are being conducted in the state. Permission has also been given to open industrial training institutes, polytechnics, colleges, medical and nursing colleges, engineering colleges, agricultural and technology institutes, all universities and all other educational institutions. The Covid curfew has been carried forward with all the provisions currently in force.
