Elon Musk reveals next project ‘Tesla Bot’
Elon Musk has high ambitions, one of which is human settlement on Mars. While it’s some time away, Musk’s Tesla has now turned its attention to humanoid robots. It has been named names is Tesla Bot. A glimpse of what Tesla’s humanoid robot looks like is also given.
Elon Musk explained why Tesla is bringing the bot to the market. Tesla bot will do all that work, which humans have to work hard to do. It does everything that is unsafe or boring.
It could ideally be a butler of the people. Exactly the same robot as we have seen in many movies. This robot is currently under the supervision of the AI team. But the company wants it to reach the people as soon as possible.
Tesla Bot will be 5.8 feet tall
Musk said at the event that the robot would be 5.8 feet (1.8 meters) long and weigh 125 pounds (57 kg). The walking speed will be around 5mph (8kph). You can also make it weigh 45 pounds (20 kg).
Tesla Bot may arrive by next year
All of this sounds very ambitious considering the state of robotics in 2021. Tesla has promised to bring a prototype by next year, but it seems difficult. Now it has to be seen whether Elon Musk’s company is able to launch this robot next year or not.
