International flights from India to resume on December 15

Soon all international flights will be resumed in the country. International flights in India have been suspended since March 23 last year, but now the central government has made up its mind to resume flights for foreign trips. According to the information, international flights will be started from the third week of December i.e. 15th December. Significantly, special international passenger flights are being operated since July last year under the air bubble arrangement with about 28 countries.

Will be operational from 15th December

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Civil Aviation of the country, it has been said that the issue of resumption of commercial international flights has been decided only after consulting the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Health-Family Welfare. Keeping in mind the shared views of all, it has been decided to operate international flights from 15 December 2021. It is reported that the Ministry of Home Affairs will make three lists of countries to operate flights, on the basis of which all international flights will be operated.

Also, quoting sources, it is reported that, except for the restricted 14 countries, regular international flights will be operated from India for all other countries. The list of countries restricted from India includes Britain, France, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, South Africa, Brazil, China, Mauritius, Singapore, Bangladesh, Botswana, Zimbabwe and New Zealand. The existing air-bubble flight system for these countries will continue.
