Uttarakhand corona update: 88 cases on December 31; active cases above 300

Like other states, now the graph of corona is increasing rapidly in Uttarakhand too. On Friday, 88 new cases of corona have been found in the state. This is the highest number of cases reported in a day within six months. Earlier on July 6, there were 89 cases of corona in the state. The speed of Corona can be gauged from the fact that active cases have increased to 302. After about three and a half months, this figure has crossed three hundred. This is not a good sign for the new year. The corona infection rate has also increased to 0.65 percent. Here, a patient has also died in Himalayan Hospital Jollygrant. At the same time, 32 patients have become healthy.

According to the information received from the Health Department, in the last 24 hours, test reports of 13 thousand 602 samples have been received from private and government labs. Of these, the report of 13 thousand 514 samples has come negative. Maximum 48 people have been found corona infected in Dehradun. Apart from this, 11 patients have been found in Udham Singh Nagar, 9 in Haridwar, 8 in Nainital, 5 in Almora, 3 in Pauri, 2 in Champawat, 1 each in Chamoli and Bageshwar. No new case of corona has been found in four districts of Pithoragarh, Rudraprayag, Tehri and Uttarkashi.

So far 3,45,087 cases of corona have been reported in the state. Of these, 3,31,150 (95.96 percent) people have defeated Corona. At present, Rudraprayag is the only district where there is no active case of corona. The maximum number of active cases in Dehradun has reached 135. At the same time, there are 70 active cases in Nainital as well. The number of active cases in seven districts is less than 10. So far 7418 patients have died in the state from Corona.
