Uttarkashi district hospital to get upgraded facilities in 2022

The year 2022 will be a relief for the people of Uttarkashi district. The people of the district will not have to wander to other big cities of the state for health facilities. Important facilities will be available in the district hospital itself. Cardiac, dialysis and cancer day care units will start operating in the district hospital in the third week of January itself.
Every month about 11 to 12 people from the district go to other big cities of the state for dialysis, which will now be available in the district hospital itself. CMO Dr. KS Chauhan informed that cardiac, dialysis and cancer day care facilities will start in the district hospital from the third week of January. He said that at present 18 specialist doctors are posted in the district hospital. Apart from this, many other facilities are also present.
