Indian successfully tests Anti Tank guided missile

India today successfully test-fired man portable anti-tank guided missile systems from the firing range at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. This is the third successful test of the missile system being developed for the Indian Army’s need for a third generation anti-tank guided missile.

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) tested an indigenously developed low-weight, man-portable antitank guided missile. The missile hits the Tarmat in top attack mode and accurately destroys it. All the objectives of the mission were fulfilled. This is the third series of successful tests of the Man Portable Antitank Guided Missile (MPATGM). Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO for the successful test.
