Ireland to soon remove mandatory mask in public places rule

Covid-19 restrictions were imposed around the world to protect against the global pandemic Corona virus, in which wearing masks in public places is a mandatory rule. But now the people of Ireland are going to be exempted from the mandatory wearing of masks. The country will remove mandatory mask-wearing rules at indoor public facilities and on public transport starting February 28. The Irish government gave this information on Tuesday.

What did the government say

The Government of Ireland said in a statement that there will be relaxation in Covid-19 rules across the country. In the meantime, specific protective measures currently in place in primary and secondary schools as well as in elementary education and school child care facilities will also be removed. Also, the government statement further said that special measures aimed at protecting local primary, secondary and pre-school children include social distancing.

Not only this, the statement also said that from the end of this month, people who show symptoms of COVID-19 will no longer need to be tested. Yes but pregnant women, elderly and people with high risk medical condition or immunocompromised will be tested. The government said that people showing symptoms of COVID-19 should self-isolate for 48 hours and keep others safe. The government has confirmed that now there will be no need to test except for health workers.

After the implementation of all these rules announced by the Government of Ireland, almost all Covid-19 restrictions will be removed from the country.
