Schedule released for UPSC combined Geo Scientist Mains 2022
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule of UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Mains 2022 Exam. Candidates who appeared for UPSC Combined Geo Scientist Mains 2022 exam can check the schedule by visiting the official website of UPSC – upsc.gov.in.
According to the released schedule, CGS Mains 2022 exam will be conducted from June 25 to 26, 2022. The exam will be conducted mainly in two shifts. Morning shift exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon and evening shift exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates applying for the posts of Geologist, Chemist, Geophysicist are required to appear for the respective paper on June 25 and 26, 2022. Candidates who have applied for the post of Junior Hydrologist will have to appear for Paper 1 of Geology on June 25 and Paper 2 of Geology and Hydrogeology on June 26, 2022.
The official notice issued by Geo UPSC states that if a candidate fails to appear in any one or more of the above mentioned papers for the written examination for selection to the post of Geologist, Chemist, Geophysicist, Chemical and Hydrogeology, his/her candidature will be cancelled and their written test will not be evaluated.
