Wearing mask in public in Nainital made compulsory again

On the lines of Dehradun, now even in Nainital, a fine of up to thousand rupees can be imposed for not wearing a mask. In view of the fourth wave of corona virus in the country, the Uttarakhand administration has also come on alert mode and on the instructions of the government in Nainital district, wearing masks has been made mandatory from Thursday. A fine of 500 to 1000 rupees will be charged for not wearing a mask. According to the order issued by DM Dhiraj Garbyal, if anyone is seen in Nainital without a mask, then a fine of 500 to 1000 will be charged from that person. This instruction will come into force in the district with immediate effect. The District Magistrate has made masks mandatory in public places and when stepping out of homes and at the same time arrangements have been made for those found pitting on the road.

The District Magistrate ordered all the Deputy District Magistrates and other officers and directed them to strictly follow it. The District Magistrate has also said that if any person is found violating the order, action will be taken against them under the Epidemic Act and a fine of Rs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while talking to the Chief Ministers of the state on Wednesday, has asked all the states to remain alert and only after that it has been made mandatory to wear masks in many districts immediately or again. Corona cases are increasing once again in the country.
