Corona cases rise in Delhi, Mumbai

In the national capital Delhi, 655 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. According to the latest figures, so far 455 patients have recovered. While, 2 patients have died due to corona. The number of active cases of corona in Delhi has reached 2008. According to the data, on June 1, 368 new cases were reported in Delhi with an infection rate of 1.74 percent, which has crossed 500 within 10 days.

Experts say that the reason for the increase in the cases of Covid-19 in the national capital is the laxity of the people and the period of holidays. According to the data of the Health Department of Delhi, 622 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the national capital on Thursday, while the death of two infected people was registered. The infection rate has also increased to 3.17 percent.

On Friday, 1,956 new covid cases have been reported in Mumbai. During the last 24 hours, there has not been a single death in the city and 763 patients have been cured. Although there are 9,191 active cases here. This information has been given by the news agency ANI. The infection rate in Mumbai has been recorded at 12.74%. There has been a stir in Mumbai regarding Corona. Since the end of May, now about three times more cases are being found here. The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that 15 percent cases have increased on Friday as compared to Thursday.

On Thursday, 1702 cases were found in Mumbai. Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Chahal had instructed the officials to increase the Covid test. The BMC administration says that in view of the sudden sharp increase in corona cases, an appeal has been made to people to apply masks and take vaccines. Along with this, special arrangements are being made for corona patients in hospitals and other health centers. Jumbo centers have also been prepared here so that there is no shortage of beds in hospitals and all patients can get treatment.
