Congress takes out protest march in Dehradun against rising unemployment, inflation

Under the leadership of Congress State President Karan Mahara, Congress workers marched to the Governor house to protest against the Agneepath scheme, rising inflation and unemployment. During this, Mahara said that the government has imposed GST on milk, curd and flour. Unemployment is rising and inflation is skyrocketing.

Congress alleged that ‘The future of the youth is being played with through the Agneepath scheme by the government.’ On the other hand, the state BJP termed the Raj Bhavan march against the inflation of Congress as politically motivated. The party said that the Congress wants to divert the attention of the public from their exploits. Party’s state media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that recently the ED has questioned the Congress President and other big leaders, due to which the Congress has been furious.

Now they is accusing the ruling BJP of being prejudiced. He said that ‘the Congress should cooperate with the investigating agencies and not choose a way to run away from the investigation by making allegations.’ Chauhan countered the statement of the Congress President and said that before speaking on BJP’s patriotism and ideology, Congress needs to look into its own background.
