Route to be diverted in Dehradun ahead of Road safety world series

Due to the organization of Road Safety World Series at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun, many routes will be diverted in and around the stadium in Raipur for five days from today. The traffic police has made this arrangement to save the public and the cricket match-goers from trouble.

Vehicular movement will be closed three hours before

According to the traffic plan issued during the cricket match, the movement of vehicles from Thano Road towards the stadium will be stopped three hours before the start of the match. Only those vehicles will be allowed to go towards the stadium, in which the passengers will have tickets for the match. Rest of the vehicles will be diverted from Thano Chowk towards Doiwala.

Only those watching the match will be allowed to go

Similarly, no vehicle will come from Maldevta towards Raipur. Only those coming to watch the match will be allowed to go. Rest of the vehicles will be diverted from Kale Gaon bend towards Kirsali Chowk. This arrangement will continue till the end of the match.

At the same time, separate parking arrangements have been made for two wheelers and four wheelers. Parking of four wheelers has been made away from the stadium, while parking of two wheelers has been made near the stadium.

Road to stadium

First route: Sahasradhara crossing via Ladpur, Raipur Bazar, Shiv Mandir, Maharana Pratap Chowk.
Second route: Number 06 puliya via Kidduwala, Shiv Mandir, Maharana Pratap Chowk.
Third Route: Ring Road to IT Park, Kirsali Chowk, Kale Village via Maldevta Road to Maharana Pratap Chowk.

Entry system

Gate number one: VIP pass holders and media.
Gate number two: VVIPs, players and officials.
Gate number three: entry to all others.
