UKSSSC paper leak case: Hundreds of youth take out rally march near Secretariat

There is anger among the youth due to the rigging of many recruitment examinations conducted by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission. On Wednesday, thousands of unemployed people from across the state took out an anger rally in Doon and marched to the Secretariat. During this, they raised the demand for a CBI inquiry into the recruitment scam.

Hundreds of unemployed people gathered at the Parade Ground marched to the Secretariat with loud slogans demanding a nine-point demand, including a CBI inquiry into the recruitment scam. However, before reaching the secretariat, the policemen stopped them by putting up barricades. Due to which the unemployed youth got enraged and they also got into tussle with the policemen. After the uproar that lasted for five hours, the unemployed youth submitted a memorandum to the magistrate and calmed down.

On this occasion, Bobby Panwar, President of Uttarakhand Unemployed Union said that while on one hand the meritorious youth of the state are wandering here and there for jobs. At the same time, in collusion with politicians, officials, copying mafia, jobs are being distributed by rigging the recruitment examinations. This is a very big matter and CBI investigation is necessary.

Recently, there was a big setback for the scores of government job aspirants in the state when UKSSSC paper leak scam came to light. Since then there have been more than 30 arrests and more recruitment scam suspicions which led to protests from the youth.
