Uttarakhand Cabinet Meeting: List of decisions taken on October 12

Under the chairmanship of Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, a cabinet meeting was held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, October 12. A total of 26 proposals came in the meeting. Uttarakhand Logistics Policy proposal was passed in the meeting. At the same time, it was said that 143 special teachers would be assigned to children with special needs.

These decisions were approved in the meeting

  • 1 lakh in accident relief fund increased to 2 lakh
  • Land use fee increased in housing department
  • Commercial rates will also be applicable in petrol pumps
  • Uttarakhand Judicial Service Rules amended
  • The state government will give 50 percent subsidy under the Horticulture Mission in the Agriculture Department.
  • The rule of children who are absent for more than 60 days in the education department has been amended. Now the child will be considered out of school for being absent for 30 days
  • CM authorized for ordinance on women’s reservation
  • Industrial Service Policy promulgated
  • Uttarakhand’s own logistics policy implemented
  • Accident insurance of traders increased from 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs
  • Haridwar University gets cabinet approval
  • Cabinet authorized CM for dearness allowance and bonus
  • The report of Uttarakhand Human Rights Commission will be laid on the table of the House.
  • The affected people coming under the master plan in Kedarnath will get the benefit,
  • 6 police stations and 20 police posts will be built in the first phase in case of deployment of regular police from revenue police
  • The area where tourism has increased will come under the regular police.
