Chris Hemsworth to take break after DNA test reveals Alzheimer’s risk

Marvel Studios fame Thor and Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth revealed that his DNA has a gene linked with high probability of Alzheimer’s disease. This warning was found during the shooting of his new documentary ‘Limitless’ with National Geographic. According to the report of Vanity Fair, Chris wanted to test all those things which are hidden in his DNA. He got a genetic test done and found two copies of the APOE4 gene in it. This gene increases the risk of Alzheimer’s disease. These genes come from both their parents.

Chris Hemsworth has described this revelation as his biggest fear. He also revealed that he is planning to take a break from acting due to the genetic possibility of getting Alzheimer’s. Talking to Vanity Fair, he said that his concern was that he did not want to manipulate it and not seek sympathy from anyone. He said that he is not leaving acting, just taking a break.

Chris Hemsworth has given a positive response to the possibility of this disease occurring in the future. He said, ‘Most of us prefer to avoid speaking about death in the hope that we will somehow escape it. We all have faith that we will figure it out. Then suddenly some big hint indicates that you are going to die.’

Chris Hemsworth further said, “The possibility of getting Alzheimer’s has inspired me to take a break from acting. Now that I am finishing this tour this week, I am going home and I will have a good time and everything will be simple. Will be with the kids, will be with my wife.”
