ICC World T20: England defeat India by 10 wickets in semi final

England scored a thumping win over team India in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup. In this match, Team India started by losing the toss and ended by losing the match. Team India’s bowling against England was a complete flop, which coupled with the slow start led India to defeat.

To win this match, the England team had to score 169 runs in 20 overs. The England team achieved this target without losing a wicket. Jos Buttler scored an unbeaten 80 and Alex Hales scored an unbeaten 86. The final match of the T20 World Cup 2022 will now be played between England and Pakistan.

Team India out of T20 World Cup

Team India batted first after losing the toss in this match, but the team had a bad start and KL Rahul returned to the pavilion on the score of 5 runs. Chris Woakes exposed his weakness against the extra bounce in the second over. Only 62 runs were scored in the first ten overs. Not getting runs in 42 dot balls i.e. seven overs in the semi-finals proves how much pressure the team was under.

Hardik Pandya played a brilliant innings

Hardik Pandya played the role of a finisher, scoring 63 runs in 33 balls to take India to 168 for six in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup against England. At the same time, Virat Kohli also scored 50 runs in 40 balls but the highlight of the Indian innings was Pandya, who took the team to a respectable score. After the performance of the first ten overs, this score did not seem possible. India scored 58 runs in the last four overs which included four fours and five sixes from Pandya.
