Release date of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ has been announced

‘PS2’ will release in April

However, today the release date of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ has been officially announced. Makers have shared the poster, in which it is clearly written that ‘PS 2’ will be released worldwide on 28 April.

What is the story of the film

‘Ponniyin Selvan: 2’ takes forward the story of the great Chola emperor Raja Chola. He was the most powerful king in the south during his time, mainly remembered for restoring Chola power and ensuring their supremacy in Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean. ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ is directed by Mani Ratnam, produced by Lyca Productions. ‘Lyca Productions’ is one of the most successful Indian film studios and is responsible for some of the biggest Tamil films released in India including ‘Ponniyin Selvan’,  ‘2.0’.
