Kedarnath Yatra 2023 to begin from April 25
Date of opening of Kedarnath after the winter season has been decided, the temple doors will open for devotees on April 25. Today, on Mahashivratri, the date of opening of the doors of Kedarnath Dham has been decided. On April 25, at 6:30 am, the doors of the portals of Kedarnath will be opened for the devotees. Mahabhishek Puja started at Omkareshwar temple from 4 am. All the rituals were performed in the sanctum sanctorum by temple priests as per religious rituals.
Aarti of Lord Kedarnath was performed at 8:30 am. After this, from nine o’clock in the morning, the Acharyas of the temple committee sat in the Panchkedar Gaddisthal for the Panchang calculation. On the basis of almanac calculation at 9:30 am, the day of opening of the portals of Kedarnath was decided and announced.
Bhajan-kirtan will continue throughout the day in the Omkareshwar temple premises by the students of the Vidyapeeth, the workers of the temple committee.
Badrinath Yatra to begin on April 27
The doors Badrinath Dham will open this year on April 27 at 7:10 am.
