Akshaya Tritiya 2023: Know date, significance
The festival of Akshaya Tritiya is celebrated on the third day of Shukla Paksha of Vaishakh month. This time this festival is falling on Saturday, 22 April. Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day. It is believed that Treta Yuga started on this day itself. In the scriptures, Akshaya Tritiya has been called Ugadi Tithi. Many eras have started from this day and many incarnations of Lord Vishnu have also happened. Satyug and Tretayug have started on this day. Lord Parshuram also incarnated on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. That’s why Akshaya Tritiya has great importance from the religious point of view.
