Uttarakhand corona update: 24 new cases found on April 1

Like Delhi and other big cities, the coronavirus infection has again started spreading in Uttarakhand. On Saturday, 24 new cases of corona infection have been found in the state. Among these, maximum 21 people were found corona infected in Dehradun district.

Apart from this, the Covid test report of two people in Nainital and one person in Pauri has come positive. Along with the cases of infection, the positivity rate has also increased to 6.98 percent. Currently there are 37 active cases of corona in the state. Nine patients have been cured.

A total of 260 infected cases of corona have been found so far

So far this year, a total of 260 infected cases of corona have been found. Of these, more than 95 percent people have been cured. Some time back, Uttarakhand had also become corona free. But for the last one week, the Covid-19 causing virus has started spreading again.

Now the number of corona infected is increasing

In the beginning only two to four cases were being detected daily, but now their number has started increasing. In such a situation, the health department is also worried. The Director General of Health has already issued advisory to all the districts. In which it has been said that full care should be taken to prevent corona infection.

Active cases goes past 18000 in India

According to the Union Health Ministry, the new cases registered on Sunday are 28 per cent more than on Saturday. Today 3824 new cases of corona have been registered. Earlier this number was 2995 on Saturday and 3095 on Friday. After the cases registered today, the number of active patients in the country has increased to 18389.
