Adi Kailash Yatra 2023: No inner line permits to be issued till June 30
In view of the incessant rains, the administration has stopped Adi Kailash Yatra till June 30. Inner line permits will not be issued from the SDM office till June 30. Its orders have been issued by SDM Dharchula. Here, the Tawaghat-Lipulekh road connecting the China border remained closed for the second day. Due to the closure of the road, the problems of seven villages of Vyas Valley and tourists have increased. Tour operator, 49 passengers and 20 passengers of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam are stranded in Dharchula for not getting inner line permit.
The Meteorological Department and NDRF have issued warnings of heavy rain and storm in the higher Himalayan regions. In view of this, Adi Kailash, Om Parvat Yatra has been halted for the time being. Travelers and local people going to Panchachuli of Darma Valley have been appealed not to undertake unnecessary travel.
After the closure of the road, 20 passengers of the 18th batch of Kumaon Mandal Vikas Nigam and 49 passengers of Adi Kailash Tour Operator could not get inner line passes.
