Karnataka election results 2023: Trends show Congress forming government

The trends are out for all the 224 seats in the Karnataka Assembly Elections 2023. In the trends released by the Election Commission, the trend of the last 38 years in Karnataka does not seem to be changing. As per the trend, once again the government in the state has been changing. In the trends, the Congress has crossed the majority mark by taking a big lead. Congress is leading on 130 seats and BJP on 66 seats.

Many cabinet ministers of the BJP government are trailing. BJP has also lagged behind in Bengaluru. At the same time, JDS is ahead in only 22 seats.

Counting of votes in 36 centers across the state has brought in trends, with election officials expecting a clear picture about the result by afternoon. A ‘record’ voter turnout of 73.19 per cent was recorded in the elections to the 224-member assembly in the state on May 10.
