The campaign will continue till the encroachment is completely removed in the state, legal process will be taken in Banbhoolpura: CM Dhami

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that whatever is legal will be done in Banbhoolpura encroachment matter of Haldwani. Action will be taken on the directions of the Supreme Court in this matter. He has asked the Government and the Railways to take steps on this issue with mutual coordination.

In relation to the encroachment on land in Banbhoolpura of Haldwani, a meeting was held in the government under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday. During this, he asked the officers to comply with the directions of the Supreme Court. Along with mutual coordination, instructions were given to place the facts related to it before the court.

In an informal conversation with the media, the Chief Minister said that whatever encroachment is there in the state, it will be removed. The campaign for this is going on. This campaign will continue till the entire encroachment is removed. He said that he expected that the people who have encroached on the government land should remove it themselves.

On the question asked regarding the Chardham Yatra, the Chief Minister said that the Yatra is going on smoothly in three Chardhams of the state i.e. Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. Registrations are stopped in Kedarnath to save the pilgrims from inconvenience and trouble due to frequent bad weather and obstruction of the route by the glacier.

In response to another question, he said that the Prime Minister had appealed to all the countrymen to spend five percent of their expenditure on local products during their religious pilgrimage. Its effect has been seen. After the appeal, devotees are buying the products of local women self-help groups and other self-help groups. Due to this, local people are being encouraged in the direction of providing self-employment and employment is also increasing in the state.

Discussion on law and order with Additional Chief Secretary and DGP

On Monday morning, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami discussed the law and order situation of the state with Additional Chief Secretary Home Radha Raturi and Director General of Police Ashok Kumar. He directed the officers to create peace system in the state and curb the chaotic elements.
