Weather changes after noon in Uttarakhand, rain from mountain to plains bring relief from heat

In Uttarakhand, it was cloudy from the mountain to the ground in the morning after rain late on Monday. However, as the day progressed, light sunshine was seen in some areas. At the same time, after noon the weather changed again and it rained from the mountains to the plains. Rain in Dehradun, Rishikesh Vikasnagar, Tehri, Uttarkashi gave relief to the people from the heat.

Orange alert of heavy rain

At the same time, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding lightning accompanied by rain. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of light to heavy rain at some places in the state till June 22.

According to the Meteorological Department, this time the monsoon will enter Uttarakhand on June 25 with a delay of five days, but before that there may be good pre-monsoon rains on June 21 and 22. Gusty winds are also expected to blow along with rain in the hilly districts. Due to this, a drop in temperature can be recorded in the plains.

Bikram Singh, director of the Meteorological Centre, said, along with the rain, there is also a possibility of gusty winds at a speed of 60-70 kmph.
