Uttarakhand daily Corona update: 567 cases found on 16 December
On Wednesday, 567 new cases of Corona were reported in the state. Three patients died. 498 patients also recovered. The total positive case figure has now reached 84069.
According to the Health Bulletin issued by the Health Department, 57 cases were reported from Almora, 16 Bageshwar, 26 Chamoli, 21 Champawat, 194 Dehradun, 37 Haridwar, 123 Nainital, 18 Pauri, 21 Pithoragarh, Three Rudraprayag, 14 Tehri, 20 US Nagar and 17 from Uttarkashi. . The total number of active cases has increased to 6140.
The infection rate has reached 5.41 percent and recovery rate 89.86 percent. 75547 patients have also been cured in the state. On Wednesday, 12778 reports came back negative.
Samples of 14237 patients were sent for examination. The report of the 16997 sample is still awaited. The total death toll has also reached 1375.
The death rate in the mountains is increasing rapidly in the state. The death rate reached 12.65 percent on 16 December, with 174 deaths in nine hilly districts. On November 16, the rate stood at 9.14 percent with 102 deaths.
