Rain wreaks havoc in Nainital’s Ramnagar, bus with 35 passengers rescued by JCB

In Uttarakhand’s Ramnagar, once again the havoc of rain has been seen. A bus full of passengers got washed away in a seasonal stream at Dhangarhi bridge in Ramnagar city of Nainital district of Uttarakhand. There were a total of 35 people in this bus, who were rescued with the help of JCB.

In the Dhangarhi area, many major accidents have happened in this area earlier also. Suddenly this bus getting washed away in the water could have been a big accident but fortunately JCB machine was present on the spot. With the help of which all these passengers were immediately taken out of the bus and all the passengers are said to be safe.

Due to the continuous rains in Uttarakhand, the way the river drains are in spate, people should be careful and see the water level while crossing the rain drains.

Recently, many people are missing after the landslide caused by incessant rains near Gaurikund in Uttarakhand and the search operation is going on. District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh Rajwar has said that 100 personnel of NDRF and SDRF along with a team of local administration are engaged in the search operation.
