Nanda Devi fair of Nainital declared as state fair

Uttarakhand government has declared Maa Nanda Devi fair of Nainital as a state fair. Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj announced this during his visit to Nainital. Along with this, minister Satpal Maharaj laid the foundation stone of schemes worth more than Rs 14 crore for Nainital district. Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj said that preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Uttarakhand have been completed.

Uttarakhand Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj reached Nainital on a one-day visit. During this, he said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Pithoragarh in Kumaon. During this, the Prime Minister will go to Nabhidhang, a remote area of Kumaon including Om Parvat, Adi Kailash. Prime Minister Modi’s visit will boost tourism in Kumaon in the coming times. Also, remote areas will develop.

 

Preparations completed for PM Modi’s Uttarakhand tour

Satpal Maharaj said that all preparations have been completed for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kumaon. Satpal Maharaj said that the government is doing special work to promote religious tourism in Uttarakhand. The state government has identified 12 places each in Kumaon and Garhwal to be linked with religious tourism. In which Devi Circuit, Golju Circuit, Shankar Circuit, Vivekananda Circuit, Hanuman Circuit have been developed. The aim of the government is to connect remote areas of the state with tourism along with religious tourism. So that the areas which have not been developed till now, can be developed as soon as possible. Along with this, the government is doing special work to bring Uttarakhand food items to international level.
