Two-storey building collapses to the ground after landslide in Nainital

On Saturday, a two-storey house in Charton Lodge area located in Mallital of Nainital was hit by a landslide and collapsed. There was no loss of life in the accident. The house was evacuated in time. After the collapse of the house due to landslide, cracks have appeared in the houses built nearby.

As per reports, a light landslide was occurring in Mallital Awagarh Compound area on Saturday. Meanwhile, the security wall built 30 years ago suddenly collapsed. As soon as the wall collapsed, the landslide started intensifying. Local people informed the district administration. After some time, cracks started appearing on the roads and houses in the area and people started panicking.
