Winter carnival to be held in Shimla from December 25 to 31
Since the beginning of the month of December, the influx of tourists has started increasing in Shimla. This influx will increase even more in the coming days. Tourists especially come to Shimla to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Shimla Winter Carnival is going to be organized for the first time to attract tourists. This is the first time that such an event will be held in Shimla.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will inaugurate the Shimla Winter Carnival, which is going to start from December 25. During this artists from different districts will also take out a cultural parade showcasing the culture of the state. A stage is also being prepared for the winter carnival at the historic Ridge grounds of Shimla. Apart from this, cultural programs will also be organized near Rotary Town Hall and Police Control Room.
Shimla Winter Carnival will continue till 31 December
Cultural performances of artists from different districts will be seen every day in the Shimla Winter Carnival, which will run from December 25 to December 31. Apart from this, programs will also be organized every day at Gaiety Theater in Shimla. This will include theater festival, Sufi singing and Qawwali. Women of self-help groups and Mall Road business organizations will also set up their stalls during the Shimla Winter Carnival. Tourists coming from outside states will be able to shop in these stalls.

Giving information, Municipal Corporation Mayor Surendra Chauhan said that the winter carnival is being organized for the entertainment of tourists. During this time a big program will be organized at the Ridge grounds.
