Ind vs Eng Test series: India won the second test by 106 runs, series level 1-1

The second match of the five-match Test series between India and England was played in Visakhapatnam. The Indian team had set a target of 399 runs, in response to which England’s second innings was reduced to 292 runs. Ashwin is still one wicket away from 500 Test wickets.

Team India defeated England by 106 runs in the second test played in Visakhapatnam. With this, Team India has made a comeback in the five-match Test series and leveled the series at 1-1. England won the first test in Hyderabad by 28 runs. The third Test will be played in Rajkot from 15 February.

India had set a target of 399 runs for England. In reply, the visitors second innings was reduced to 292 runs. The Indian team had scored 396 runs in the first innings thanks to the double century of Yashasvi Jaiswal. In response, the England team was all out after scoring 253 runs in its first innings. India got a lead of 143 runs in the first innings. Team India scored 255 runs in its second innings on the basis of Gill’s century and set a target of 399 runs for England. Then India won the match by bundling out their opponents for 292 runs. Jasprit Bumrah who was the wrecker-in-chief for England in the first innings with 6 wickets in the first innings, picked up 3 wickets in the second. He was adjudged man of the match for his performance.
