Slight recovery in the stock market, Sensex closed with a gain of 170, Nifty rises 122 points

After the chaos in the stock market on Monday, a slight recovery was seen today. The stock market, which opened in the green mark on Tuesday, witnessed fluctuations throughout the day. However, in the end the market closed in the green mark. Today the BSE Sensex closed at 76,499.63 points with a gain of 169.62 points (0.22%). The NSE Nifty 50 index also closed at 23,207.60 points with a gain of 121.65 points (0.53%) today. Let us tell you that on Monday, the Sensex closed at 76,330.01 points with a decline of 1048.90 points and the Nifty closed at 23,085.95 points with a decline of 345.55 points. Adani Ports shares rise sharply

On Tuesday, 18 out of 30 Sensex companies closed in the green with a gain while 12 companies closed in the red with a loss. Similarly, 34 out of 50 Nifty 50 companies closed in the green with a gain and 16 companies closed in the red with a loss. Among Sensex companies, Adani Ports shares closed with the highest gain of 5.18 percent today. HCL Tech shares closed with the highest loss of 8.32 percent.

Among Sensex companies, NTPC shares closed with a gain of 4.78 percent, Tata Steel 3.54 percent, Zomato 3.37 percent, Bajaj Finserv 3.13 percent, State Bank of India 2.86 percent, Tata Motors 2.75 percent, Bajaj Finance 2.71 percent, IndusInd Bank 2.50 percent, Maruti Suzuki 2.00 percent, Mahindra & Mahindra 1.85 percent, Sun Pharma 1.69 percent, Power Grid 1.60 percent, HDFC Bank 1.31 percent, Kotak Mahindra Bank 1.28 percent, ICICI Bank 1.11 percent, Axis Bank 0.49 percent and Larsen & Toubro shares closed with a gain of 0.02 percent.

These stocks closed in red today

HUL shares closed down by 3.38 percent, Titan by 1.37 percent, TCS by 1.14 percent, Infosys by 1.11 percent, UltraTech Cement by 1.10 percent, Nestle India by 0.89 percent, Asian Paints by 0.52 percent, Tech Mahindra by 0.46 percent, ITC by 0.43 percent, Bharti Airtel by 0.21 percent and Reliance Industries by 0.04 percent.
