Farmers march from Noida to Delhi today; Traffic advisory issued

Traffic will be affected due to checking on the borders leading to Delhi including the expressway, as farmers march to Delhi with their problems. In case of increased traffic pressure, the route diversion plan will be implemented by the police.

The police has appealed to the people to use alternative routes and metro. According to the traffic police, the arrival of all types of cargo vehicles will be banned on the route from Yamuna Expressway to Delhi via Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and from Sirsa to Pari Chowk via Surajpur.

Vehicles going from Chilla Border towards Greater Noida will go from Sector 14A flyover to Gol Chakkar Chowk Sector 15 via Sandeep Paper Mill Chowk, Jhundpura Chowk towards their destination.

Vehicles going from DND Border to Delhi will go from Noida Film City Flyover to Sector 18 using the elevated towards their destination.

Vehicles coming from Kalindi Border Delhi will go from Mahamaya Flyover to Sector 37 towards their destination.

Vehicles going from Greater Noida towards Delhi will go from Charkha Gol Chakkar to Kalindi Kunj towards their destination.

Vehicles going from Greater Noida towards Delhi will go from Hajipur underpass towards Kalindi Kunj and from Sector 51 to Sector 60 via Model Town.

Traffic going to Delhi using Yamuna Expressway will descend from Jewar toll towards Khurja and pass through Jahangirpur.

Traffic coming from the Peripheral Expressway to Delhi via Sirsa, Parichowk will not come down at Sirsa but will be diverted via Dadri, Dasna.

Emergency vehicles will be sent towards a safe destination during the diversion.
