First batch of devotees leaves for Amarnath Yatra 2025

The holy pilgrimage of Baba Amarnath is going to start from 3 July. Today, on Wednesday, at 5 am, the first batch of devotees left from Bhagwati Nagar in Jammu. Most of the devotees in this batch will visit the holy Amarnath cave on the way to Baltal. The first batch of devotees has left amidst the chants of Bam Bhole. Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha flagged off the first batch. More than thirty five hundred pilgrims are leaving in the first batch of Amarnath Yatra.

When will Baba Barfani be seen?

After Operation Sindoor, the pilgrimage is being held amid tight security but there is no lack in the enthusiasm of the devotees. This year the number of devotees has also increased. More than three lakh thirty thousand people have registered online while more than 4 thousand people have taken the pilgrimage token from the counter. Devotees are reaching the transit camp in Srinagar for the first holy darshan of Baba Amarnath. The first batch will have darshan of Baba Amarnath seated at a height of 14,500 feet by the evening of July 3.

How many devotees have registered?

This time 15,000 devotees have been allowed to join the Amarnath Yatra daily via Pahalgam and Baltal. So far, about three and a quarter lakh devotees have registered. This time also devotees can get themselves registered on the spot. The enthusiasm is clearly visible among the pilgrims who have reached here for the Amarnath Yatra.
