Martyr Rajendra Singh’s body given military honors in Pithoragarh
The body of martyred soldier Rajendra Singh who lost his life while protecting the nation in Jammu and Kashmir was brought to Uttarakhand on Saturday afternoon. Chief Minister Tewendra Singh Rawat and Army personnel paid tribute to him with military honors. After this his body will be taken to his father’s house in Dhamadakand of Gangolihat in Pithoragarh district.
Martyred soldier Rajendra had joined the army three years ago. Security forces killed four terrorists on Thursday in the Aruvani area. Meanwhile, people started pelting stones at the army. In which the young Rajendra Singh was seriously injured. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment. Where he died during the treatment on Friday.
It is reported that in the tral of Pulwama district of south Kashmir, a soldier was killed in an attack on the army camp on Thursday evening by terrorists. Another jawan was injured. The entire operation was carried out by the siege of the area. The terrorists attacked the camp of 42 Rashtriya Rifles at Nader in Talal area. In this, the soldiers stationed on the gate were targeted.
Two jawans were injured in this. Both of them were taken to the Military Hospital located in Badamibagh, Srinagar, but one died.
