Smriti Mandhana becomes the fastest Indian to score a century in women’s ODI

Indian women’s cricket team opener Smriti Mandhana has created history. Mandhana scored a brilliant century in the third ODI against Ireland. She became the fastest Indian to score a century in women’s ODIs. She scored the 10th century of her ODI career. Mandhana also became the first Indian to score 10 centuries in women’s ODIs. She shared a record partnership of 233 runs for the first wicket with Pratika Rawal with the pair hitting shots all around the field. On the basis of her innings, the Indian team got off to a great start.

Virat Kohli is the fastest Indian to score a century in men’s cricket, while in women’s cricket, Smriti Mandhana has become the cricketer to achieve this feat. Coincidentally, Both come on the field wearing jersey number 18. She played an innings of 135 runs in 80 balls which included 7 sixes and 12 fours. Mandhana completed her century in 70 balls. Mandhana is scoring runs continuously in the World Cup year. She is in great form at the moment.
