CM gives approval to increase DA of state employees and pensioners

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has increased the dearness allowance of state employees and pensioners and family pensioners by two percent. On Friday, he approved this proposal. Employees will get the benefit of increased dearness allowance from January 1. Currently, the rate of dearness allowance of employees is 53 percent. After two percent increase, it will become 55 percent per month.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister has also approved the construction of tehsil buildings in Champawat and Lamgada. Rs 17.74 crore has been sanctioned for this. Rs 13.86 crore will be spent on the construction of the building of Tehsil Champawat, while Rs 3.88 crore has been approved for the construction of Lamgada Tehsil building in Almora. Rs 5.63 crore has been approved for various construction works of Udham Singh Nagar and Pithoragarh.
CM has sanctioned Rs 3 crore for the demolition and temporary displacement work of the pre-built structure of Pantnagar Green Field Airport in Udham Singh Nagar district and for the runway and expansion of the said airport, and Rs 2.63 crore for construction of parking, boundary wall and approach road in Kanalichhina Tehsil complex of Pithoragarh district.
