Corona cases in Uttarakhand rises to 11; 7 recover
There has been a rise in Covid-19 cases in Uttarakhand. A new case of corona infection has been reported in Doon on Thursday. The Covid report of a 70-year-old resident of Doon has been found positive. The infected elderly has been admitted the hospital for treatment, where his condition remains normal at the moment.
According to the information, the elderly had recently gone to Delhi to meet his children. A few days after returning from there, he felt fever and weakness. On the advice of relatives, he took medical advice in the Hospital OPD. The doctors got his corona test done under the clinical protocol, the report of which came positive on Thursday.
11 cases so far, seven recovered
A total of 11 cases of corona have been reported in the state so far. According to the Health Department, seven of these patients have fully recovered and returned home. Currently, two patients are undergoing treatment, while two other patients have gone out of the state. The Health Department is alert and is constantly monitoring the suspected patients.
Health Department’s appeal – take precautions
The Health Department has appealed to the citizens to immediately contact the nearest health center if any kind of symptoms appear. Also, it has been advised to follow COVID-appropriate behavior like wearing masks, washing hands and maintaining physical distance.
