Uttarakhand weather update: Weather expected to change in high altitude areas

The weather may change once again in the high altitude areas of the hilly districts of the state. There is a possibility of snowfall along with rain in the high altitude areas of the state. However, due to bright sunshine in the plain districts, the temperature will increase.

According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Center, light rain is expected in some parts of Uttarkashi, Chamoli and Pithoragarh districts. While the weather will remain dry in other districts. Talking about the coming days, there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the parts of the state with an altitude of more than 3500 meters from 13 to 15 March.

Meteorologists say that there is a possibility of western disturbance becoming active once again this week. Due to which there is a possibility of rain and snowfall in the high altitude areas. However, it will not have much effect in the plain areas. Due to bright sunshine throughout the day, an increase of two to four degrees can be seen in the normal temperature.
