IIT Roorkee Thomso 2019 to begin from Oct 19
After the graduation ceremony at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee, the excitement of the cultural festival Thomso has started showing. Students from various educational institutions across the country will participate in this annual fest. The hosts are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the guests. These days the registration process for the festival is going on.
IIT Roorkee will have a three-day Thomso debut on October 18. Due to this, preparations are being made in the institute these days. An 18-member core committee of students has been formed to successfully conduct the festival. The team members are assigned different responsibilities. At the same time, a team of faculty has also been formed regarding Thomso 2019. The cultural festival will hold various events including panel discussions, lectures, fashion shows, workshops, cooking fests, songs, music and dance competition. Whereas in the evening a cultural evening will be organized to entertain the students. The band will perform on October 18 on the first day of Thomso. Pro-Night will be scheduled on October 19. On the final evening of the festival, electronic DJ music will be performed. In Thomso, students from more than one hundred and fifty educational institutions from different cities including Meerut, Ghaziabad, Noida, Gurugram, Delhi will participate.
