First Corona case reported in Uttarkashi
Coronavirus patients are increasing in Uttarakhand. Another Corona-infected patient has emerged this morning. Additional Secretary Yugal Kishore Pant gave information about corona infected patient of Green Zone Uttarkashi. This is the first case of corona in Uttarkashi district. With this, the number of corona infected patients has now increased to 68 in the state.
Dr. DP Joshi, CMO, Uttarkashi, said that this youth came to Uttarakhand from Gujarat on May 7 along with three other youths. A precautionary checkup was conducted on the youth, whose report has come up positive today. The administration and health department has swung into action after a corona-infected patient was found in the green zone. Departmental officers are working to find out deatils about the youth.
On Saturday, four new cases of corona were reported in Udham Singh Nagar. These four infected youth also came from outside states. At the same time, 46 patients have been cured in the state so far.
Youth with high fever under checkup
A 20-year-old young man was suffering from high fever at Pratibnagar in Raiwala. The youth came home from Gurgaon on the night of May 8 in a government bus. The young man has a high fever since last night.
The family members informed the health department about this. The medical team of the department admitted the youth to the hospital from there. With this, now the team is also trying to find out the travel history of the youth.
Challenge of monitoring 4386 people under Home Quarantine
Amid lockdown, the process of getting people trapped in other parts of the country has intensified. So far, 4386 people have been home quarantined across the district. In such a situation, monitoring them is becoming a challenge for the police.
