450 bed Covid care center constructed in Tehri
Due to increasing Corona Infection cases in Tehri, a 450-bed Covid Care Center has been set up by the district administration in the hostel of THDC Hydro Engineering College. This Covid Center will soon be handover to the Health Department, in which efforts are also being made to construct 100 oxygen beds.
The cases of corona infection are increasing continuously in Tehri district and till now the number of corona infections has reached 7454. Of these, 1998 cases are still active and 5510 people have returned home after getting well. In view of the corona infection, Rishilok has a 200-bed Covid Care Center while Narendra Nagar Hospital has been made a 200-bed Covid Care Hospital.
Apart from this, 4 hotels have also been taken as Covid Center by the administration, out of which Covid patients have been kept at two centers. In view of the increasing infection of Covid, now the hostel of THDC Hydro Engineering College has been inspected by the administration and a 450 bed Covid Center has been prepared. Where all facilities will be arranged and handover to the Health Department.
