Uttarakhand’s famous Siddhapeeth Shri Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair inaugurated

The famous Siddhapeeth Shri Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair of Uttarakhand has started. State cabinet minister and district in-charge minister Premchand Aggarwal participated in the program as the chief guest and announced the beginning of the fair by hoisting the flag. On this occasion, Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal, Chairman Municipal Council Narendranagar Rajendra Vikram Singh Panwar and other dignitaries were present.

The development exhibition was inaugurated by the chief guest by cutting the ribbon and information was obtained after inspecting the stalls set up by various departments.

The program was started by lighting the lamp on the stage by the chief guest and other dignitaries in the fair organized at Ramlila Maidan Narendranagar Tehri Garhwal. On this occasion, the display of tableaux started with the melodious tune of Uttarakhand Police Band and spectacular Chholiya dance of cultural groups of Almora. A spectacular performance by the children of various schools of primary, secondary and higher levels was given on the subjects like Krishna’s Govardhan Leela, Shri Anna Millets, Uttarakhand culture, costumes, women empowerment, G-20, Mission Chandrayaan-3, 100 percent voting participation of women in elections (Sakhi polling booth), skill development etc.

Chief guest at the fair, Mr. Minister of Finance, Urban Development, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs, Census and Reorganization, Uttarakhand Government/District Incharge Minister Premchand Aggarwal congratulated everyone for the fair. He said that on the very auspicious occasion of Navratri, Siddhpeeth Shri Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair is being inaugurated, may the blessings of Maa Kunjapuri remain on our Devbhoomi. He said that ‘fairs are a medium of reconciliation, which take forward our culture and tradition. The Prime Minister has told that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. The state government is committed to the development of Uttarakhand. He appealed to everyone to take a pledge to ensure everyone’s participation in the development of the state. He assured to cooperate with the infrastructure fund for the infrastructure related works of Narendra Nagar.’

On this occasion Forest and Technical Education Minister Subodh Uniyal, while congratulating and wishing everyone a happy fair and Navratri, said that Siddhapeeth Shri Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair has done the work of promoting the development and sports of the region. He said that Narendranagar market will be developed as heritage. The auditorium and community hall will be expanded and the degree college will be expanded in the area. The minister added that by organizing G-20 and Central regional meeting in Narendranagar, the region will definitely get an identity at the international level and in the field of tourism.

In the morning, formal puja and havan was performed in Maa Kunjapuri temple. Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal was also present on this occasion. During this, Jashoda Devi and Rama Devi of Care India Group were honored for providing a bus under CSR item by Care India Group for the transport of players. On the occasion of the eight-day Siddhapeeth Shri Kunjapuri Tourism and Development Fair, a cultural program will be organized by folk singers Meena Rana and Rohit Chauhan on Sunday, October 15 at 9:30 pm. Tomorrow, on October 16, at 11 am, the Women’s Volleyball Open competition will be formally inaugurated by Cabinet Minister Rekha Arya and a colorful cultural program will be organized from 8 pm onwards.
