Uttarakhand Corona update: 748 cases found on 9 April

On Friday, 748 cases of corona were reported in Uttarakhand. 327 patients recovered while five patients died. A total of 1749 patients have died. According to the Health Bulletin, 13 cases were reported on Friday in Almora, 9 Bageshwar, 3 Chamoli, 6 in Champawat, 335 Dehradun, 229 Haridwar, 22 in Nainital, 30 in Pauri, 8 in Pithoragarh, 18 in Tehri, 73 in US Nagar, 2 in Uttarkashi. The state has a total of 106246corona positive cases and 97327 cured patients. There are 5384 active cases. A sample report of 24997 patients is awaited. It is a matter of relief that not a single corona case has come up in Rudraprayag district.

The number of containment zones in the state has increased to 42. If a patient dies away from his city from Corona, the the kin can take the dead body to their hometown or district and perform the last rites. This provision has been made in the new guidelines of the Center. DM Ashish Kumar Srivastava has confirmed this. He said that in Dehradun, a large number of such people died during treatment of corona, who were from outside districts or states. Many of these people wanted to take the dead body with them and perform the last rites. However, they were cremated at the Corona crematorium in the city under the Corona Guideline.
