Fresh spell of snow in Kedarnath

The weather changed again in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand on Wednesday. There was heavy snowfall in Kedarnath Dham for about an hour late in the evening. At the same time, due to cold wave, there is severe cold in the Dham. In Kedarnath the maximum temperature has reached minus 4 and the minimum temperature has reached minus seven.

The weather in Kedarnath was clear and sunny since morning. The devotees continued to enjoy the bright sunshine till noon, but after noon the weather became cloudy. After some time there was light drizzle also.

2 cm of snow accumulated

Heavy snowfall started after five in the evening. During this period, about two cm layer of snow also accumulated here.
