Dates announced for Auli Winter Games 2022

The dates for the Winter Games to be held in Auli in the month of February have been announced. The Games will be held from February 7 to 9 at Auli in Chamoli district. Chamoli district secretary of Ski and Snow Board, Santosh Kunwar said that preparations have been started for the games.

At present, snow has accumulated in some places in Auli

The officials of the participating states have also been informed about this. Junior and Senior Alpine competition will be organized in Winter Games. At present, snow is frozen in some places in Auli. Whereas in Auli slope also there is less amount of snow. Organizers expect good snowfall in January.

Artificial snow production

The work of making artificial snow with machines has started in Auli slope. The repair work of the ski lift has also started. The national skiing competition in Auli will be held on snowfall. Competition will be held if it snows on time.

Ramesh Kunwar, in-charge of Snow Making Machine said that these days the work of repairing snow making machines, ski lifts and other resources installed here is going on along with slopes in Auli.
