Uttarakhand corona update: Infection rate decreases in districts

For the last four days, more number of patients are getting healthy than new cases. On Friday, 3626 new cases of corona have come in the state, while 8731 patients have been cured. After which the recovery rate has increased to 75.84 percent. At the same time, active cases has come down to 63373. So far, 3,07,566 cases of corona have been reported in the state. Out of which 2,33,266 have become healthy.

Infection rate now less than 20 percent in all districts

According to the information received from the Health Department, in the last 24 hours, test reports of 42436 samples have been received from private and government labs. Of these, 38810 is negative. The infection rate has been 8.54 percent. The good thing is that the infection rate in six districts is below ten percent. Talking about nine hilly districts, the infection rate in eight of these districts is less than 15 percent. At one time it was more than 20 percent.

A total of 34191 samples were sent for testing today, while results of 14996 samples is awaited. 203480 beneficiaries were vaccinated in Uttarakhand on May 21.
