Pithoragarh: The Valley bridge constructed on Thal-Munsiyari motorway was opened for public traffic last evening. The 30 meter long bridge spans over the Hardiya Nala which was constantly a source of problem for the commuters as well as the officials as it was always blocked by debris during the rainy season.
Constructed by the Public Works Department, the bridge was inaugurated at around 6:15 pm last evening. Earlier heavy vehicles were passed over the bridge to test its strength and when every thing was properly inspected it was opened for the public.
