CM Dhami flags off flight services between Dehradun-Pithoragarh

Flights to Pithoragarh have started from Dehradun airport. Today on Tuesday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the Dehradun-Pithoragarh flight by lighting the lamp at the airport terminal. After which at 10:10, Flybig’s 18 seater aircraft took off from Dehradun Airport for Pithoragarh.

On the first day, a total of 15 people including Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami flew from Dehradun to Pithoragarh.

DGCA has approved this flight after several trials. After this this flight has been started. With this, Garhwal and Kumaon are connected by air route. Due to which, apart from tourism and pilgrimage, there are possibilities of promoting business also.

During this, CM Dhami said that as a result of the efforts of the double engine government, the much awaited “Pithoragarh-Dehradun air service” has been launched today. With the start of this air service, local people will get convenience in transportation. Through this, tourism in the border areas will also expand further, which will increase the livelihood of the local people.
