Helicopter with pilgrims onboard crashes near Kedarnath
A helicopter has reportedly crashed near Kedarnath. Casualties are being feared in the crash.
It was reported that six people were on board the helicopter. The accident happened near Garud Chatti area. SDRF and NDRF teams are engaged in the rescue.
Dense fog in Kedarnath
At the same time, teams have left for rescue in this incident. It is being told that there is dense fog in Kedarnath which could be a cause of the accident.

Helicopter crashed in Kedarnath in 2019 too
In the year 2019 also, the helicopter crashed in Kedarnath. While taking the passengers from Kedarnath to Phata, the pilot had to make an emergency landing due to a technical fault in the helicopter and during this the helicopter crashed.
At the same time, heli services have been banned in Kedarnath till further orders. The weather is still bad in Kedarnath. It has been snowing there.
